Who We Are
The Stones River Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SR-SHRM) is a local affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest association devoted to the field of human resource management.

Our chapter membership is comprised of over 100 (and growing) human resource professionals primarily from the Rutherford County, Tennessee (Murfreesboro, Smyrna and LaVergne) area. Rutherford County is the fastest growing county in Tennessee and according to the Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics, second in the U.S. for new job growth.

Our Mission
Stones River SHRM serves the needs of the Rutherford County area human resource (HR) professional by providing essential and useful resources through chapter member networking, continuing education opportunities and monthly membership meetings.

In addition, SHRM is committed to advancing the human resource profession and the capabilities of all HR professionals to ensure that HR is an essential and effective partner in developing and executing organizational strategy and success.
